Over the next few months, we will be putting up a new translation of the Lulu plays (Earth Spirit & Pandora's Box) by Frank Wedekind. The author was one of the greatest German playwrights at the turn of the 20th century, and composer Alban Berg distilled the action of the two plays into his opera Lulu. Berg only used about 30% of Wedekind's text in his opera. You can read the entire original here.
