This administration has clearly demonstrated treason against the Constitution, the health and well-being of our nation, including weakening our civil liberties, aiding to the rapid devolution of critical thinking through undermining the educational system.
Clearly they are guilty of war crimes against Humanity by starting a war with repeated lies. Now: 4,000 young Americans killed, tens of thousands maimed... 1 million Iraqis killed, millions maimed... $562 billion in tax dollars stolen from our children... $3 trillion cost to our economy through veterans care, weapons replacement, higher oil prices, and the collapsing dollar. All that in just 5 years!
-End the war in Iraq
-Cut the huge, bloated, wasteful military budget
-Stop oil directing U.S. policy in the Middle East
-Return to diplomacy and statesmanship as the path to strong international leadership. A new policy of investing in our communities and our infrastructure. A new policy of Strength through Peace.
-Repeal The USA Patriot Act
-Repeal the Taft-Hartley anti-union law
-End America's participation in NAFTA and the WTO
-Adopt a Wall Street securities speculation tax
-Aggressive crackdown on corporate crime and corporate welfare
-Work to end corporate personhood
- Establish a Single-Payer, Not-for-Profit health care system for all citizens
-Guarantee education up and including higher education for all citizens
-Priorities funding for research to end the use of fossil fuel and put into place alternative sustainable clean energy -No to nuclear power, solar energy first
-Adopt a carbon pollution tax
-Open up the Presidential debates:
Candidates will be those who petition enough signatures, i.e., 100,000 for Congress (within their district), 1,000,000 for Senate (within their state), 10,000,000 for President.
-No more political advertising. Period!
The government issues FCC licenses to broadcast, so as part of that license, every election year, those broadcast stations must set aside air time for political debates, at least once a month, leading up to the primary and subsequent election.
-Put an end to ballot access obstructionism
-Failsafe voting accountability must be established
And then...
We must lead the world by example and begin to put an end to this following statistic:
Half the world's population lives on less than two dollars a day. In 2003, 10.6 million children died before they reached the age of five. Without hope and stricken by the AIDS pandemic, religious strife and no opportunity for an education; desperate poverty is a fact of everyday life for the majority of the world's people. It manifests itself in war, terror and genocide over scarce resources, hopelessness and intolerance.
