According
to Talmudic study, the teaching and example of a human being outlive the
messenger. And, if this individual is a righteous person, these teachings and
memory of how he or she lived will resonate more and longer through time. Thus,
the teachings of the righteous are their monuments.
The
highest form of wisdom is kindness.
There
are 613 commandments given to us through Moses so that we can live a more
civil, law abiding, accountable and healthy life. Numerology shows us this adds
up to 10, and then, 1. These 613 are also within the Ten Commandments. 1. You
either honor those who taught you how to live righteously and live righteously,
or are doomed to folly and inevitable extinction.
Simply
put: Who is ignorant? He, who does not educate himself and his children.
Ignorance
leads to the inability to rationalize. The inability to rationalize will, more
often then not, lead to frustration and violence. Frustration, lack of accountability and
violence lead to chaos and self-destruction.
For
thousands of years, the indigenous peoples of the earth knew of the delicate
balance so to allow the synergistic renewal of all life. The highest complement
anyone would bestow on others was the recognition of being human. To be called
a human being was acknowledging one’s awareness of consciousness and thus, the
perpetual responsibility to pay back to the earth mother because of receiving
this magnificent gift. They were one with nature and the universe. And yet,
repeatedly outside material interests interfered with this balance causing
these enlightened people’s total destruction.
The
victorious, with their additional advances in technology, chose to ignore these
lessons of nature’s law, passed down from iniquity. Soon enough, out of balance
and refusing to correct the reality of their pending failure, these later
empires inevitably collapsed or imploded to comparative insignificance. Why?
Because the necessary need of natural harmony was not acknowledged, let alone
adhered to.
Thus
far, history has shown us we seem to be doomed to continually repeat and not
learn the lessons of synergy and renewal. We pride ourselves as being evolved
and not making the same mistakes. And yet, we relish our selfish material
greed, how disposable our products are, while rationalizing the negative effect
on the natural world is minimal.
With
no other nations to conquer and in total denial that we are a global community,
we are conquering ourselves through material plunder. Too many people, too much
need, we can no longer sustain ourselves. We have harvested our oceans to the
point of many marine species possible extinction. We arrogantly murder land
animals for their natural habitats. We clear-cut our forests, which provide us
with oxygen. Our precious water supply is depleting as we continue to fowl
ourselves. Fossil fuels and green house gases are raising the global
temperature to the point of the oceans releasing methane; an irretrievable
situation. Irretrievable for us, that is, but not Mother
Nature.
As
we stand on the parapet of self inflicted Armageddon, teetering on the edge,
looking over the abyss into the face of our own extinction, we seem to accept
this as a fatalistic endgame, daring it to come. It is as if we believe, at the
last minute, we will be saved by a higher power. Unfortunately, the higher
power is Mother Nature and she is only concerned with the health of the earth
itself. We are comparatively insignificant and extremely arrogant players in
this fragile game.
If
we don’t stop our present conscious de-evolution, the earth will demand itself
to be cooled, releasing all her volcanoes, pushing enough ash into the
atmosphere to shade and reduce the overheating. This natural, but terminal
winter, will cause the inevitable death of all plant life and the subsequent
starvation of animal life. After several millions years, the planet will return
to paradise, once again, in perfect balance. Life will slowly evolve once more
and we will be some fossil memory to be discovered by a future society, most
likely not humanoid. Hopefully, they will deduce why we ended and not repeat
our folly.
Proverbs
tell us, “A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up
the bones.”
It
was Mother Nature who gave us life. Euphoric life! It will be she, who takes
our life away as a necessary step to repair the destruction we have caused.
Are
we willing to accept the lessons given before us and live with nature in total balance. It is possible for all of us to synergistically
live together. We are cut from the same cosmic cloth that created the universe.
We must educate ourselves and learn the delicate balance of all life. The
euphoria is the Godhead.
